# \[PROP #44\] Register Injective USDC as the Canonical USDC on the Dymension Hub

### TL;DR

Circle is shutting down USDC on Noble, ([Circle is Discontinuing Support for USDC and CCTP V1 on Noble | Circle](https://www.circle.com/blog/circle-is-discontinuing-support-for-usdc-and-cctp-v1-on-noble)) the chain that supplied USDC to most of Cosmos, including Dymension. Circle’s native USDC on Injective is now proposed as the canonical USDC instead of Noble. Prop #43 restored the Hub’s IBC connection to Injective.

This proposal **registers Injective USDC as the Hub’s canonical USDC** (symbol USDC, 6 decimals) and **allows it in new AMM pools**.

# **Noble USDC holders: migrate now. Don’t wait for this vote.** Instructions are below.

**Proposal**

- Register denom metadata for Injective USDC: symbol USDC, 6 decimals.
- Allow Injective USDC in new AMM pools.
- No funds move, no incentives are created.

### **Next, in separate proposals:** a DYM/USDC pool on Injective USDC with LP incentives.

## **Migrate your Noble USDC now**

There are two ways to migrate:

**Option 1: one click in Keplr (easiest).** Keplr’s built-in migration converts Noble USDC to Injective USDC in a single step. It runs on Skip:Go, so a Skip fee applies.

**Option 2: swap on Osmosis (lowest fees).**

Bridge your Noble USDC from Dymension to Osmosis.

Swap USDC.n for USDC.inj on Osmosis.

Bring it back through Injective: Osmosis → Injective → Dymension. If you send it straight from Osmosis, it arrives as a different, non-canonical token.

Either way, check that the result arrives on Dymension as ibc/3713D1D8…

**LPs:** withdraw your Noble USDC liquidity first, then migrate. Only use the official Keplr, Osmosis or Skip:Go apps, and never share your seed phrase.

**New minting of USDC on Noble through Circle Mint will be disabled on October 13, 2026. Redemptions from Noble via Circle Mint remain available until January 12, 2027, when the Noble USDC contract and CCTP routes will be fully paused.**

On the pause date, Circle will take a snapshot of all remaining USDC on Noble balances and open a manual redemption portal. The manual redemption process begins January 13, 2027.

### **Governance Votes**

**YES:** Register Injective USDC as the Hub’s canonical USDC and allow it in new AMM pools.

**NO:** Don’t register Injective USDC.

**NO WITH VETO:** The proposal is spam or harmful to the protocol.

**ABSTAIN:** Counts toward quorum without taking a side.
